Maintenance & Troubleshooting

System degradation eventually leads to unexpected faulty conditions or even downtime. We provide control system maintenance and troubleshooting as a proactive and reactive reactive measures for coping with these situations and ensuring continuous operation.

Loop Performance Monitoring.

Control loops tuned at commissioning degrade over time: process conditions change, equipment wears, and setpoints drift. We provide periodic or continuous loop performance monitoring, identifying loops that are oscillating, saturating, or underperforming, with a prioritised report of recommended actions.

Documentation & Updates:

Control system documentation that does not reflect the current state of the plant is a maintenance and safety liability. We audit and update as-built logic drawings, I/O lists, functional descriptions, and software version records — producing accurate documentation that supports fault diagnosis, regulatory compliance, and future upgrade work.

Upgrades & Expansions.

New equipment, modified processes, and changing regulatory requirements all place demands on existing control systems. We manage upgrades and expansions — from software updates and hardware replacements to adding new plant sections or integrating new systems — planned, tested, and documented to the same standard as a new installation.
